Went for a three day course some time back... very the good.... cos I realise that I do need to brush up on my language.

I've not been using English much lately. Very much due to the fact that I do not really need it at work. Most of the time, I speak to my customers in Chinese. There was even an occassion where a specific SE even asked me to serve her customer because she wanted me to explain in Hokkien!! Probably I need to start using English a lot more often.

Anyway, back to my topic of English. Hee hee, I now have 3 items on my "wanted list". :p

1. Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary

2. The Complete Plain Words

3. I cannot really remember

(continued....)

After the photo-taking session... We were off to Mt Cook for the wedding reception. I had salmon... quite good.... cos's it' like reallie fresh... the view was fantastic too.... snow-capped twin peaks... so cool...

Sue and Emi had the first dance... they danced pretty well.... good co-ordination... then all the rest joined in...  shit.. it's been almost a month... a lot of things cannot remember already... that night we had a party (some kinda new year party) at Sue and Emi's luxury apartment... huge apartment with a huge room and a super huge bathroom... It's nearly the size of a room in singapore.... However the best part of the evening is the part where we sat at the balcony area to admire the stars... It's was freezing outside... (cos Lake Tekapo is reallie cold) but it's really worth it. As you sat longer and longer outside, the stars become more and more apparent... Cos the sky is totally dark becos the area in Tekapo is not brightly lit... you can even see the whole milky way leh.. so fantastic. There is even an observatory in Lake Tekapo.. so it must be one of the best area in NZ to see stars.

Day 4: We set off for Hammer Springs... By the time we reach there, it was around evening time.... We had just enuff time to sneak into the thermal pools.. Fernando, Shannon and I had a private pool for 30 mins, after which we went to the normal pools... There was three sulphur pools.... We left around 9 or 10pm for dinner.

Day 5: Set off for Kaikoura; had lunch there.. we had seafood...cos Kaikoura is a beach area... feed the seagulls there.. many many many plently seagulls... there was one seagull who only had one leg.. so we keep feeding him.... Then we part with Sue and Emi and went back to Christchurch. We wanted to stop at a wineyard... but missed in.... We went to Countdown supermarket to shop..

Day 6: GO HOME DAY!! Go home by Air New Zealand. On the flight back, out of boredom I asked the attendant for a kid's set....then all of a sudden Shannon and I used the erasable board and started writing to a little boy and his sister... They are French.. Cos at first we couldn't decicde if the boy is a girl or a boy cos he has long hair... but it was fun .. something to do...

Finally reached home and so happy.. yeah

Very long time never update liao... Shuping's complaining...

anyway I just came back from NZ not too long ago... fun fun fun

enjoyed the wedding thoroughly.... so fun.... i oso wanna get married...

Day 1: Went around Christchurch... We took the Metro... the bus systems there... Went to Cathedral Sq, and fudge cottage and also the garden.. got name one... but i forgot what's the name... did some window shopping.... S'pore got a lot more variety, but the shops there are quite interesting too... Prices are rather reasonable too... but wasn't really in the mood to shop... dun wan to carry too many things... had fish and chips.... We took the Orbitator and went around the whole of Christchurch.... We kinda lost our way... but we manage to reach back ard 11pm... then go back and sleep...

Day 2: Drove down to Lake Tekapo where the church is... Stop by at Ashburton and then at Geraldine for lunch... I am really not used ang moh food... There was sandwiches and pies and desserts to choose from... but like a bit the strange... one pie or sandwich is too little, take both like too much.. so eat one.. but go hungry easily... Reach Lake Tekapo ard 3pm... then after then went to the church for rehearsal for the BIG DAY. Fern was the chief cook for dinner tat night... dun play play.... He cooked nasi lemak for many many people lor.... Impressive! Then we left to help Evan's mum with the flowers.

DAy3: BIG DAY... Woke up early to dress up and do my make-up and hair.... then off to the wedding.. oh, btw, the church is a cosy little church with a fantastic view.... It was over in a jiffy... then we adjorned to Mt Cook for lunch... On our way there, we stopped by at different places to take pictures. Stu, the creative photographer, took us to a little river. to get to the place he wants, we have to walk through a slope and then stepped on the rocks to get to somewhere abt 10m away from the bank... We also climbed over a fence, up a slope to get to the peak... Well, it's nt easy as we were wearing our heels.. But we managed, thanks to the groomsmen... Oh yeah, tokking abt which, I must say they are really sweet.. Mer and Mel helped us to cross the obstacles, and even asked if we were cold and need jackets. Ezzuan was very very sweet too... He opened the car door for me many times, and closed them too.... Tink when he grows up, he'll be pretty charming... hehe...

(To be continued.... aiyah.. i sleepy lar)
